English Vocable is an interactive online solution to improve English language skills based on current news and cultural stories.
Every two weeks new authentic learning material for reading, writing, listening and speaking English is published and delivered to subscribers.

THE "ALL ENGLISH" READ AND LISTEN NEWS MAGAZINE

The Vocable biweekly magazine is available in an "all English" version with the introductions to the articles and the difficult words explained in simple, easy to understand English.

The articles are read by native English speakers with various accents recorded in high audio quality. With an easy to use language lab player tool, each sentence can be repeated as you follow the words highlighted in a karaoke fashion.

THE VOCABLE "CONVERSATION" AUDIO PROGRAM

Every 15 days, native speakers from English speaking countries are interviewed by an American journalist about the articles from the current issue of the Vocable magazine. This program also has the karaoke and language lab functions.

THE "VOCABLE PLUS" INTERACTIVE GRAMMAR AND VOCABULARY EXERCISES

With this biweekly program of different types of written exercises and games, the language learner memorizes with ease the grammar rule and vocabulary found in the current issue of the magazine. Pronunciation exercises as well as differences in British and American English are included.

THE VOCABLE LANGUAGE "LEVEL TEST"

This 30 minute online general English test helps quickly evaluate, in an easy and reliable fashion, written and oral comprehension skills.

There are a total of 50 questions in this test: • 25 • written comprehension questions and 25 oral comprehension questions with predominantly British and American English native speakers.

At the end of the test, written and oral scores are indicated as well as the date and the time spent to take the test. A general evaluation with the estimated equivalency levels are also available for the TOEIC® (Test of English for International Communication) and the CEFR (Common European Framework of References for Languages).
